I'm interested in ordering from your company. What should I do first?
First, you should order one of our sample packages. Depending on which package you choose, we'll provide you with swatches and/or actual product samples of the items you are interested in. It is best to see the colors in person, rather than making your decision based on the colors you see on your computer screen. Once you've received your sample package and made your decision, come back to our web site to place your order.

Will you do any printing or assembly for my invitations?
No. Invites By You, Inc. is a supplier for the do-it-yourself invitation client. We supply blank cardstocks, blank envelopes, pockets, spooled ribbon, etc. If you are looking for a full-service invitation company, please visit Not From a Box, Inc., providing full design, printing and assembly services for pocket and other unique invitation designs.

How will I know if the cardstock I've chosen will work with my printer?
Most of our cardstocks have been tested on laser and ink jet printers. For laser printing, we have found that smooth cardstocks will typically print better than textured cardstocks. Because there are many types of printers on the market, we cannot guarantee that our cardstocks will print on your specific printer. NOTE: All of our cardstocks are suitable for offset and thermography (raised) printing, although you should bring a swatch of your cardstock(s) to your local print shop to make sure.

How do I get a price quote for the items I will be ordering?
Simply add the items you wish to your shopping cart, and the shopping cart will display a total price. If you are ready to proceed with the order, you may fill out your shipping and billing information on the next screen. If you are not ready to place your order yet, simply Empty your shopping cart. You are not charged for any items until you enter a credit card number.

How do I place my order, and how do I pay for my order?
Go to the product description page of the product you want to order. Select the quantity and color of the item(s) you wish to order and click the "Add to Cart" button. Continue adding items to your cart until your order is complete. Click the "Checkout" button to proceed to our Secure Shopping Cart. Here you will fill in your shipping and billing information, select the method of shipping and your credit card number.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard.

What is your return policy?
All sales are final. We only accept exchanges on products damaged during shipping. You are required to contact us within three business days if there is a problem with your order.

Once I place my order, when will it ship?
Most orders will ship with 5-7 business days. You will be notified if your order will ship later. We use FedEx for our shipping carrier. Please note that FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays.

Do I need an outer envelope for my pocketfold?
Yes. The pocketfold by itself is not suitable for mailing.

What if I did not order enough or need more pockets, ribbon, envelopes and/or cardstock?
We also recommend that you order at least 10% more than you expect to need. Designing your own invitations is sure to be a trial and error process, so you are encouraged to order enough for trials, test prints, mistakes, and extra invitations. If you find that you do need more of any item, you can place another order on-line.

Will you offer any advice or expertise on how to design my invitations?
No. We are here to equip you with the supplies you need to create your ideal invitation, but we do not offer any layout or design expertise. We suggest you visit the message boards on The Knot and The Wedding Channel, as they are filled with forums of information on do-it-yourself invitations.

What is the weight of your cardstocks?
Our cardstocks range in weight from 80# to 100#. The metallic cardstocks are 110# in weight.

How much postage will the pockets require?
Depending on the size of pocketfold you choose, as well as the amount of enclosure cards, ribbon/embellishments, and weight of cardstock(s), they can take anywhere from $.63 to $.87 of postage. We recommend that you take a finished invitation to the post office and have weighed for the accurate postage amount.
